My customer avatar is a 21-year old woman who strongly believes in doing the right thing. She is a moral leader who is forward-thinking and doesn't make rash decisions that will result in unideal situations. She thinks before she acts, not only to protect herself from the consequences of irresponsibility but to protect others from the results of her poor judgement. She is a liberal, who values the well-being of every individual and has respect for the lives of others. She believes that she plays a strong role on this planet, and that the decisions that she makes can have an affect on the larger society. She enjoys driving to her local bar for happy hour with her girl friends, but would never put her life, or the life of others at risk when driving home.
What we have in common-- We don't make life or death decisions when our judgment is impaired, we think responsibly and consider the consequences of our actions before making them. Not only do we think of how our decisions with affect ourselves, but also how they will impact the lives of others. We value human life and believe it is our responsibility to protect it, and we would never endanger the livelihood of others. I don't think it is a coincidence that I have these aspects in common with the customer avatar. I created this business concept because it is something that I would find use in, which means I am prototypical customer and should share similarities to the avatar.
I like how you saw yourself in this avatar that you created. It's interesting how this ideal person is someone that could potentially represent you and it shows how this product/service is something that you see is beneficial for you as well. I can see myself relate to this avatar as well because I also believe in doing the right thing and find myself at crossroads sometimes in certain situations.
ReplyDeleteAshlyn, I relate a lot to your customer avatar. I'm very similar in the sense that I am very conscientious about my actions. I understand the importance of taking full responsibility for my actions, and try my best to avoid putting the lives of others in danger. I could see your avatar being the rational voice in the friend group, which can make her extremely influential in the best way possible.
